I just received a call from my sister Johanna at the hospital. Channel Man is having a rough night tonight. His SpO2 level is dropping, so they have increased the FiO2 on the ventilator to 70%. He is running a fever again for the first time in over a week, and his temperature is registering at 38.6 C (101.5 F). He also having issues with low arterial blood pressure, so they are administering medications to try and improve things.
About Me
We are into our 59th year on the South Channel. About 35 years at our present location, where every thing that moves on the South Channel passes our doorstep. The cottage is a work in progress, hand built by us from scratch. Before building on a lot puchased from The Archers, now Craganmor Point, we leased an Archer cottage for about ten years. We spent our earlier years at the family cottage located at the western tip of Seven Mile Bay. We feel very fortunate that we can spend six months of the year living on the channel.
