Dad had a another good night. Tammy, his nurse for this shift, reported that his vital signs were about the same as last night. However, his blood oxygen saturations (SpO2) had increased to 100%, so they had lowered the amount of oxygen he was getting (FiO2) to 60% and then again to 55%, which was where things were yesterday evening. The doctors will be completing rounds later this morning and formulating a care strategy for the day, and everyone is eagerly anticipating results from the lab.
About Me
We are into our 59th year on the South Channel. About 35 years at our present location, where every thing that moves on the South Channel passes our doorstep. The cottage is a work in progress, hand built by us from scratch. Before building on a lot puchased from The Archers, now Craganmor Point, we leased an Archer cottage for about ten years. We spent our earlier years at the family cottage located at the western tip of Seven Mile Bay. We feel very fortunate that we can spend six months of the year living on the channel.
