I just got back from the hospital and Pop is stable and resting comfortably. His vital signs are good and his blood oxygen saturation level is at 99%. The ventilator settings are still higher than they have been the past few days, but tonight they were lower than they were earlier in the evening. The doctors will attempt to continue to decrease the "vent" settings throughout the night to get them back to where they were previously. Pop continues to prove that he IS one tough old bird.
About Me
We are into our 59th year on the South Channel. About 35 years at our present location, where every thing that moves on the South Channel passes our doorstep. The cottage is a work in progress, hand built by us from scratch. Before building on a lot puchased from The Archers, now Craganmor Point, we leased an Archer cottage for about ten years. We spent our earlier years at the family cottage located at the western tip of Seven Mile Bay. We feel very fortunate that we can spend six months of the year living on the channel.
