Channel Man Stan's vital signs are improving. He is stable and his overall condition and blood oxygenation levels have improved enough that the doctors have lowered the FiO2 level on his respirator to 50% to test what he can tolerate. Kidney function is of primary concern at this point. A renal specialist is being consulted this morning to determine a strategy to improve things. The Physician's Assistant monitoring Stan said, "Things are still critical, but we no longer feel like they are minute-to-minute."
About Me
We are into our 59th year on the South Channel. About 35 years at our present location, where every thing that moves on the South Channel passes our doorstep. The cottage is a work in progress, hand built by us from scratch. Before building on a lot puchased from The Archers, now Craganmor Point, we leased an Archer cottage for about ten years. We spent our earlier years at the family cottage located at the western tip of Seven Mile Bay. We feel very fortunate that we can spend six months of the year living on the channel.
